Event Code Of Conduct and Attendee Policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
1. Purpose
This policy applies to all delegates, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, investors, government representatives, media, staff and guests attending Global Investment Convention (GIC) and its related events and online activities. Our aim is a safe, professional and welcoming event for everyone.
2. Expected behaviour
- Treat everyone with respect, courtesy and professionalism, regardless of nationality, gender, religion, age, disability, background or position.
- Wear your Event badge at all times in the venue and follow instructions given by organisers, security and venue staff.
- Follow the Event schedule and respect session timings.
- Respect the confidentiality of private business meetings and information shared with you.
- Follow all venue rules, fire, safety and emergency instructions.
3. Behaviour that is not allowed
- Harassment, discrimination, threats, abuse or intimidation of any kind, including sexual harassment. We follow the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 where applicable.
- Violence, carrying weapons or dangerous items, or any unlawful activity.
- Misuse of attendee, investor or company data, including unauthorised mass marketing or sharing of contact lists.
- Selling, advertising or distributing materials outside your allotted booth or branding space, or without our approval.
- Making false statements about GIC, other participants or your own business, or misusing the GIC name or logo.
- Offering or accepting bribes, or any improper payment or advantage.
- Intoxication that disturbs others or damages property, and any conduct that harms the safety or reputation of the Event.
4. Investment and business conduct
GIC is a platform for introductions and discussion. Participants are responsible for following all laws that apply to their activities, including securities, company, foreign exchange, anti-money laundering and tax laws in India and elsewhere. Nothing at the Event is a public offer of securities. Participants should carry out their own checks before entering into any transaction and should not rely on GIC for this purpose.
5. Photography, filming and media consent
Photos, videos and audio will be recorded at the Event for documentation and promotion. By attending, you agree that we may record and use your image, voice and name in these materials across print, digital, social media and broadcast channels, without payment. If you do not want to be photographed or recorded, please inform the registration desk or our team, and we will make reasonable efforts to respect your request. Personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy. Attendees must not record private meetings or closed sessions without permission.
6. Exhibits, safety and property
- Exhibitors must make sure that their booth, exhibits and materials are safe, lawful and do not block walkways or exits.
- Please take care of your belongings. We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal or exhibit property.
- Report any safety concern, medical emergency or lost item to the Event team straight away. If you need accessibility support, please tell us in advance and we will try to assist.
7. Visa and travel
We can provide an invitation letter to confirmed Package holders on request. Visa decisions are taken by the relevant government authorities, and each participant is responsible for obtaining the right visa and following Indian immigration and customs laws.
8. Action we may take
If this policy is breached, we may give a warning, ask the person to leave the Event, cancel their pass or Package benefits, and report the matter to the police or other authorities where required. In such a case, no refund will be given. Concerns can be raised with any member of the Event team or at sayali@crescendoworldwide.org or roopesh@crescendoworldwide.org, and will be treated with care and confidentiality. Our Grievance Redressal Policy also applies.
