Payment Policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

1. Purpose

This Payment Policy explains how payments for Global Investment Convention (GIC) Packages are made and handled by Crescendo Worldwide Private Limited. It applies to every payment made through the Website or by any other method we accept. Please read it together with our Terms and Conditions, Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.

2. Prices and currency

  • Package prices are shown in US Dollars (USD) on the Pricing Page: Host Country USD 30,000; Diamond USD 20,000; Platinum USD 15,000; Gold USD 7,000; and Delegate USD 1,500.
  • The price shown at the time you complete the payment applies to that booking. We may change prices for future bookings at any time without notice.
  • Where a customer in India pays through an Indian payment method, the amount may be charged and invoiced in Indian Rupees (INR) at the exchange rate displayed at checkout.
  • Packages cannot be combined with discounts or promotional codes unless we state so in writing.

3. Taxes

  • Unless the Pricing Page says that a price is inclusive of taxes, prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. Goods and Services Tax (GST) and any other tax required by law will be shown separately at checkout or on the invoice.
  • If any law requires you to deduct tax at source (TDS or withholding tax), you must pay the additional amount needed so that we receive the full invoice value, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Please send us the tax deduction certificate in time for us to claim credit.

4. Accepted payment methods

Payments can be made through our online payment gateway using the methods shown at checkout, which may include international and domestic credit and debit cards, net banking, UPI (for payers in India) and other wallets. Bank transfer (wire transfer or RTGS/NEFT) is available on request against a proforma invoice. Payment methods may differ by country and may change from time to time.

5. Payment gateway and security

  • Online payments are processed by an authorised third-party payment gateway which is regulated in India under the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007 and the Reserve Bank of India’s guidelines for payment aggregators.
  • We do not see or store your full card number, CVV, PIN or net banking password. These are entered on the secure page of the payment gateway or your bank, which follows industry security standards such as PCI DSS.
  • You may be asked to complete additional authentication, such as a one-time password (OTP), required by your bank.
  • Please use only payment instruments that you are authorised to use. If you pay using another person’s or organisation’s instrument, you confirm you have their permission.

6. Booking confirmation and invoice

  • A booking is confirmed only after the full payment is received and a confirmation email is sent. Packages are limited and are not held for you before payment.
  • A tax invoice will be sent to the email address provided at booking, usually within 3 working days of payment. Please ensure that your company name, address, and tax details are correct at the time of booking, as it may not be possible to change an invoice after it is issued.
  • If your booking is paid in instalments under a written arrangement with us, the Package will be treated as confirmed only as stated in that arrangement. Unpaid instalments by their due dates may result in cancellation of the booking and the Cancellation Policy will apply.

7. Bank transfers

  • Transfers must be made in the currency and to the bank account stated on our proforma invoice. We will never ask you to pay into a personal account.
  • All bank, remittance, correspondent and currency conversion charges must be borne by the payer, so that the full invoice amount is received in our account.
  • Please email the transfer reference or proof of payment to us. Your booking will be confirmed once the funds are credited. Payments by customers outside India are received through authorised banking channels in line with the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999.

8. Failed, pending or duplicate transactions

  • If your payment fails but the amount is debited from your account, the amount is generally reversed to your account automatically by the bank or gateway, usually within 5 to 7 working days, in line with Reserve Bank of India timelines for failed transactions.
  • If the payment status shows as pending, please do not pay again immediately. Wait for the confirmation email or contact us with your transaction details.
  • If you are charged more than once for the same booking, please email us with proof. We will verify and refund the excess amount as explained in our Refund Policy.

9. Chargebacks and disputed payments

If you have a concern with a charge, please contact us first so that we can resolve it quickly. If a chargeback or dispute is raised with a bank or card issuer without first contacting us, we may suspend the related booking and Package benefits until the matter is resolved. We may also provide the bank or payment gateway with the booking records needed to respond to the dispute.

10. Verification and prevention of fraud

We and our payment partners may carry out identity, organisation and transaction checks to prevent fraud and money laundering, in line with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002. We may delay, refuse or reverse any transaction that appears suspicious, unauthorised or unlawful, and may report it to the authorities where required by law.

11. Late or unpaid amounts

If any amount due is not paid by the due date given to you, we may cancel the booking and release the Package to others without liability. Amounts already paid will be dealt with under the Cancellation Policy.

12. Refunds

Refunds, where applicable, are made to the original payment method as explained in our Refund Policy.

13. Payment queries

For any payment-related query, please write to sayali@crescendoworldwide.org or roopesh@crescendoworldwide.org with your name, organisation, Package booked and transaction reference. If you are not satisfied with our response, please refer to our Grievance Redressal Policy.
