Refund Policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

1. Purpose

This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are made for Packages booked for Global Investment Convention (GIC). It should be read with our Cancellation Policy, which sets out the refund percentages, and our Payment Policy. Crescendo Worldwide Private Limited deals with refunds as per applicable Indian laws.

2. When a refund is available

  • Cancellation by you: a partial refund, according to the timelines and percentages in the Cancellation Policy.
  • Cancellation or postponement by us: a full refund of the Package fee, or a credit, as set out in the Cancellation Policy.
  • Package unavailable or booking declined: a full refund if we are unable to confirm your booking, for example if the Package is sold out or a payment was received after sales closed.
  • Duplicate or excess payment: a full refund of the extra amount paid.
  • Failed transactions: if money is debited but no booking is confirmed, the amount will be reversed or refunded in full.
  • Package not delivered by us: if a significant benefit of your Package is not delivered because of us, and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, a proportionate refund for that benefit, as assessed by us fairly and based on the Package details. Please report this in writing within 7 days after the Event ends.

3. When a refund is not available

  • Cancellation less than 30 days before the Event, or non-attendance (no-show).
  • Change of mind, change of business plans, or internal approval, funding or travel issues, other than as covered by the Cancellation Policy.
  • A delegate’s inability to travel, including visa refusal, except as stated in the Cancellation Policy.
  • Not receiving a specific investor meeting, introduction, media coverage in a specific publication, or any business result, as these depend on third parties and are not guaranteed (see the Package Delivery and Service Fulfilment Policy and the Disclaimer).
  • Failure to provide materials, information or approvals on time, or breach of the Terms and Conditions or the Event Code of Conduct, resulting in loss of benefits or removal from the Event.
  • Payment gateway fees, bank charges, currency conversion differences and customised items already produced.

4. How to request a refund

Please email sayali@crescendoworldwide.org and roopesh@crescendoworldwide.org with your booking reference, the name of your organisation, the Package booked, proof of payment, the reason for your request and the bank details if payment was by bank transfer. We may ask for more information to verify your request.

5. How refunds are processed

  • We will review your request and tell you our decision within 7 working days of receiving all the necessary information.
  • Approved refunds will be started within 10 working days of approval. After that, banks and card networks may take a further 5 to 10 working days to credit your account, and this time is outside our control.
  • Refunds are made to the original payment method and to the same payer. Refunds by cash or to a different account or person are not possible. For bank transfer payments, the refund will be made to the account from which payment was received, unless the account holder gives us a written request and supporting proof for a different account.
  • Refunds are made in the currency in which payment was received. Differences caused by exchange rate changes between payment and refund, and bank or intermediary charges, are borne by you.
  • Where GST or any other tax was charged, we will issue a credit note and refund the tax in proportion to the refund as required by law.

6. Credits instead of refunds

Where we offer a credit towards a future edition of GIC, the credit will be recorded in writing, will be valid only for the period stated, and cannot be exchanged for cash unless the future edition is also cancelled by us.

7. Disputed refunds

If you disagree with our decision, you may write to us again with further details, or contact our Grievance Officer as described in the Grievance Redressal Policy. If you have already raised a dispute with your bank or card issuer, we may need to wait for that process to finish before issuing a refund, so that you are not refunded twice.

8. Contact

For refund questions, write to sayali@crescendoworldwide.org or roopesh@crescendoworldwide.org, or call +91 96041 21711 or +91 84467 86050.
